As many of you might already know, I am a second year Interior Design student. I have tried to find blog posts and articles explaining what an average day of an interior design student would look like, yet I could not find one; so I decided to write my own.

Rise and Shine
Time to get up and get ready for the day but first, coffee. The first thing I would do is make myself some coffee and breakfast. For breakfast I would usually either have cereal, Greek yogurt with fruit or a toast with peanut butter and banana. Today I went for some yogurt and kiwi along with a glass of water; Once that is done, I would sit and eat my breakfast and check the news and social media while 'Shark Tank' is playing in the background.
This is my least favourite part of the day; getting ready for the day. I never know what to wear or what to do with my hair but once I have it figured out, I pack my bag for the day ahead.
I had a morning lecture at 9.00 am on 'Space Planning and Surveying'.
For today's task, we had to walk over to a Media Design company to survey their space; this is because we are using their building as a structure for our design. The whole surveying process took longer than I thought it will - Over an hour and a half!!
I decided to head home for a while as I did not have any more sessions until 4.00 pm. I made myself an omelette with ham, cheese, spinach and fried tomatoes for lunch and ate it while watching 'The Office'.
I began to rewrite my lecture notes from my lecture this morning. When I was done, I decided to do some rough sketches, zonal planning and carried on working on my design project.
My session began at four and was two hours long. I am designing a retail path therefore my colleagues who also choose this pathway had a meeting with our pathway tutor and went through what we have done in the last two weeks and what we are planning to achieve within the next couple of days.
I came home and ate some dinner; spaghetti bolognese.
After dinner, I got into my pajamas, made myself some tea and snacked on some chocolates while I lit my candles and watched some Netflix.
I brushed my teeth, set an alarm on for the following day and decided to head to bed. I did some more University work on my laptop and read a little.
I am currently battling a sinus infection so I was in bed at 10 ready for sleep.
