It's the 27th of September which means that it is officially Autumn time! Yay!! My favourite season is back again. I don't know what it is about Autumn that gets me so excited but I am so happy it's back.
I am a sucker for the cold evenings and dark nights but I must admit, I'll miss the summer sun a little bit. This year, England has given us amazing weather (not counting the many thunderstorms and rainy days we also had - especially in Ireland) but it is time for the coldness to kick in.
Whenever I lived back home, taking Phoebe (our border collie) on a walk during autumn, is something I will never forget; she would run around making the leaves fly around her. I just love putting my boots on along with a big coat (a scarf and hat are also a must) and just going places where you can smell the fresh air and hear the crispy leaves as you make your way through; with a dog pulling the lead, of course.
But I mean, what's better than watching a movie by the fireplace while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate with candles in the background. And please tell me you have an autumn movie list that you adore and can watch every year.
Movies that can be found on my list include:
The nightmare before Christmas
You've got mail
And of course lets not forget the 'Friends' thanksgiving episodes:
The One Where Underdog Gets Away (Season 1)
The One With the Football (Season 3)
The One With Chandler in a Box (Season 4)
The One With All the Thanksgivings (Season 5)
The One Where Ross Got High (Season 6)
The One Where Chandler Doesn’t Like Dogs (Season 7)
The One With the Rumor (Season 8)
The One With Rachel’s Other Sister (Season 9)
The One With the Late Thanksgiving (Season 10)
Anyway, enough autumn talk for today.
I will leaf you on this note. How corny am I ?! (wow, two puns in a row, how cringey).
